Founded in 1980, Florkowski Builders, Inc. has established itself as a leader in general building construction, with a concentration in healthcare facilities, colleges and universities, and pharmaceutical and corporate facilities.
As projects grow and diversify, Florkowski Builders has been able to respond to these challenges by increasing its permanent staff with qualified personnel in the areas of Contract Management, Project Management, and Budget Control. We have successfully demonstrated our complete understanding of what it takes to provide total project control.
Throughout the years, we have been fortunate to staff our projects with an outstanding group of full-time field personnel; our superintendents, foreman, and carpenters know and understand our standards and expectations and together with our office management, we are able to provide the quality workmanship and project coordination that our clients expect and demand.
In addition to our field and office staff, we also have an 8,000 square foot millwork shop, enabling us to perform with speed efficiency any customized millwork required on any project. Our cabinet shop has a draftsman for quick shop drawings, assisting with initial job start-ups. Any architectural revisions on shop drawings are corrected immediately and turn-around is usually within a few days.

Florkowski Works as a Team
Florkowski is the liaison between client, architect, engineer, consultants, and subcontractors. We provide management and guidance to the on-site project teams through the direction of personnel, contract management, project scheduling, budget control, and cost adherence, as well as overseeing implementation of the company’s Safety and Quality Control Programs, in accordance with OSHA standards. General construction and carpentry are performed by our own forces, allowing Florkowski better control in regards to scheduling, coordination, efficiency, and quality of workmanship.
Contract Management
Florkowski will ensure that all subcontractors meet guidelines of their contracts, including lein waivers, bonds, safety policy, and insurance coverages
Project Management
Florkowski will draw-up subcontracts, develop and maintain schedules, purchase equipment, review and expedite submittals and requests for information, procure materials and forecast delivery needs to arrange for timely delivery of materials, and assure that submissions conform to the project specifications
Budget control
Florkowski will provide cost analysis, prepare budgets, draw-up AIA billings, prepare change orders, reconcile purchase orders
